This is coaching, not therapy or medical treatment. If we spot anything outside coaching scope, we will signpost you to appropriate support.

A short, confidential call to understand what is happening with your drinking, what you want to change and whether coaching is the right fit.
Step 2 – Foundations
We use SHIFT to map your patterns, set early goals and build your first simple changes, so you see progress quickly without overhauling everything at once.
Step 3 – Ongoing support
We embed new habits, prepare for high-risk situations and build a long-term maintenance plan so you feel steady, not like you are “back at square one”.

Common questions
Do I need to stop drinking completely?
Not necessarily. Some people choose to stop, others aim to cut down. We will discuss what feels realistic and safe for you and decide together.
Is this suitable if I think I might be dependent?
Coaching is not a substitute for medical support. If there is any concern about dependence or withdrawal risk, I will always encourage you to speak to your GP first and can support you alongside medical care.
Is everything confidential?
Yes, with standard safety exceptions where there is a serious risk of harm. We will cover this clearly in our first session.
